Da Delfina is one of the best addresses in Tuscany. The restaurant can be found in the village of Artimino, in a great panoramic position – here you can dine with a view of the Medicean hunting villa La Ferdinanda. But also the interiors of the old stone farmhouse are comfortably furnished and couldn’t be more Tuscan. The master of the house is Carlo Cioni, a gastronome of the old school, who took over the restaurant from his mother in the 1950s – and with it her secret recipes, including the best ribollita in Tuscany. Of course, the homemade pasta is also heavenly, as is the beef goulash with broad beans, the rabbit with pine nuts or the kid from the oven. Carlo cooks according to the seasons and so especially in autumn the green tomatoes with baked grapes are a pure pleasure!
